ONLINE SUBSTITUTE TEACHING CLASS We still have room in our Online Effective Substitute Teaching Class this fall. (Classes start next week!) If you have been thinking about becoming a substitute teacher, now is your chance. Effective Substitute Teaching is available online through EWC. (Observation hours are done in person in approved Wyoming schools after a pre-screen background check). Most students are able to pay back the cost of the class within a few days of substitute teaching- what a great investment! 🎟️GET YOUR TICKETS!⛳The EWC Foundation Golf Tournament will be Saturday, August 24th. A portion of the proceeds from the event go to help raise money for the Lancer Golf Team this season. As a part of the event, we will be selling tickets at $20 each for the 50/50 Golf Ball Drone Drop on August 23rd. If we sell all 300 tickets, then 1st prize would win $1800, 2nd would win $750 and 3rd would win $450!Matt Scott with the agriculture department will be assisting with the event to lift 300 golf balls and drop them over a target at the golf course on Friday, August 23. The 3 closest balls to the target will win the money. Eastern Wyoming College would like to invite the public to an open house on Wednesday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. to celebrate the college’s 75thanniversary.Established in 1948, Eastern Wyoming College will celebrate their 75th anniversary with games, activities, and prizes throughout the different offices and departments. EWC Plans Nursing Open HouseEastern Wyoming College will host an informational open house for anyone interested in learning more about becoming a nurse and the EWC nursing program.
