Simpson Judge have partnered with a leading Litigation Law Firm based in New York, on an exclusive opportunity. The firm specialize in Professional Liability services within the Construction industry and are looking for an ambitious Construction Attorney to join them on a fully remote basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 5 Yrs Construction experience looking for a unique opportunity to join a reputable law firm. The role will involve representing high class design professionals in all aspects of the project lifecycle including reviewing/ drafting/ negotiating contractual documentation and representing clients in litigation disputes.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating and drafting a variety of Construction agreements
Represent an array of design professional including Architects, Engineers, Contractors etc.
Represent clients in ADR, Depositions and Court proceedings as necessary
Legal research and keeping up to date with changes in the Law
Work collaboratively with colleagues on high quality matters
Qualifications:
Admitted to practice in New York, ideally New Jersey also
5+ Yrs experience within Insurance Defense, construction experience is preferred
Litigation experience in both State and Federal Courts
Trial experience preferred
Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
