What You'll Be DoingYou'll start with a comprehensive three-week paid training program to ensure you're fully prepared. After training, you'll enter a "nesting" phase where you'll get comfortable with our systems before open enrollment begins. Once you're ready, you'll begin helping individuals and families choose insurance plans that best fit their needs. Your role will involve using your customer care and sales skills to answer questions, resolve issues, and make a positive impact on the lives of the people we serve.
As a Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent, Your Daily Activities Will Include:
Guiding Clients: Provide expert advice on insurance plan options that match their budget and healthcare needs, clearly differentiating between products.
Clarifying Concerns: Address and resolve customer confusion or frustration with empathy and effective closing techniques.
Enrollment Assistance: Enroll individuals and families in the most suitable plans for their requirements and budget.
Active Listening: Identify and address additional customer needs with different plan features and enhancements.
Answering Questions: Respond to inquiries about health insurance plans and benefits with clarity and professionalism.
Qualifications And RequirementsExperience: At least one year of experience with ACA (Affordable Care Act) plans.
Call Center Experience: Previous experience in a call center is a plus.
Skills: Strong active listening skills and attention to detail.
Workspace: A dedicated, secure workspace free from distractions.
Internet and Equipment: High-speed internet (10 MBPS upload and 50 MBPS download) with a hard-wired connection. You'll need a laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or higher (Apple/Mac, Chromebooks, and tablets are not compatible). Dual monitors and a webcam are required, as well as USB-connected headphones with a microphone and mute button (Bluetooth is not acceptable).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Assessment: Completion of a pre-screening assessment.
What You Can ExpectSupport: Ongoing support from experienced supervisors, quality coaches, and management dedicated to your success.
Training: Paid training for three weeks, starting in October.
Compensation: $20 per enrollment in commissions for enrollments and renewals (paid out after the close of the program), plus a training bonus, program completion bonus, and performance incentives (daily and weekly).
